Thought I'd finally crack and give this a watch. Did 5 episodes back to back yesterday evening.

Quality show!

Spacey offers a masterclass in genial venom. But his wife (in the series) is a better reason to watch. She gives a masterclass in understated venom. And quite good looking too.

Spacey being in it was part of my executive decision after I had drawn up a short lsit. Great actor.

House of Cards is great and also IMHO Kevin Spacey is brilliant in it. An acting masterclass.

Bollocks still need to start that again as well.

Might have to load everything onto my iPad and be one of those sad cunts that watch on the train!

Started watching this thought it was good and can't remember why I stopped.

Anyone see the end of the most recent Banshee episode....that was gory.

Its excellent, Jam. I have no interest in American politics but this is up there with the best TV I've seen. Very clever and Spacey is superb.

I started watching this the other week after quite a few people telling me it's good.

It's not really that good. Spacey isn't really very good in it. The script is poor and unrealistic. Nothing actually happens. Not a single likeable character in it. I don't understand why people rate this so much.

Started to watch it when I had Netflix. Should go back and re-visit it.

I have watched most of the original BBC mini-series online as I'm too young to remember the original being broadcast. It was excellent but, for some reason, the final episode is not on YouTube, which is a bit of pain in the arse.

Oh, and bell, first series was a slow burner but gets really good three or four episodes in. Worth sticking with it definitely

Re: House Of Cards
On episode 7 now - still pretty good, but as series two was so excellent, this season was always going to struggle to live up to it.

Is lacking suspense in this one

Re: House Of Cards
Watched the first episode of season 3 last night. 10 minutes in and the season plot line is clear. Doug Stemper can't live without being needed by his boss but he's served his purpose. Addiction will kick in, he'll become a liability and will bring the president down with the help of the girl that smashed his brains in, after hed smashed her back doors in!
